Metcalf headed to convention

ROGERS - Rogers businessman Thurman Metcalf is more than ready to begin his duties as a delegate to the upcoming Democratic National Convention.
The convention starts Monday in Denver. Metcalf is the only Benton County resident who will serve as a Democratic delegate to a national convention this year.
He recently supported Hillary Clinton for his party's presidential nomination but has now switched to Obama and feels confident that the apparent presidential nominee will work hard to get his version of healthcare reform enacted, he said.
