Eureka Springs

Ian Everett Scher, 42, of Eureka Springs, Ark., died Friday, Nov. 14, 2008, at his home. He was born June 22, 1966, to Michael Scher and Karen Jo Scher in Los Angeles, Calif. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was a prominent member of the Rogers Little Theater in Rogers, Ark., acting in many of its productions. He was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Jo Scher. Survivors include his father, Michael Scher; friend, Keith Johnston; a daughter, Jacqueline Rainey of Springdale; and two sisters and a brother-inlaw, Angela Larue and Carl Larue of Rogers, and Stacey Scher of Fayetteville. Funeral services will be at 3 p. m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers, Ark. Memorials may be made to the Rogers Little Theater in Rogers, Ark. Rogers

Roger Dale Key, 59, of Rogers, Ark., died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008, in Pea Ridge, Ark. He was born March 13, 1949, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Richard Lee Key and Mary Elizabeth Wentworth Key.

He moved to the area in 1983 from Fort Worth. He was employed at Tyson Foods in the water purification department for 14 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and race cars. He was a member of Seligman First Baptist Church in Seligman, Mo.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard Lee Key and Mary Elizabeth Wentworth Key; a brother, David Key; a stepson, James Key; and a grandson, Tommy Key.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Roger Key of Fort Worth, Texas, and Nathan Richard Key and Brandy Key of Pea Ridge, Ark.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Elaine Stephens, and Stephanie Stephens and Richard Stephens all of Marietta, Okla.; a brother, Edward Key of Fort Worth; three sisters, Elizabeth Fowler of Garfield, Ark., Betty Debebiose and Patty Bandy, both of Fort Worth; seven grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.

Cremation arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge. No memorial service is planned at this time.
