Military Officers Association to meet Nov. 20

The Bella Vista chapter of the Military Officers Association of America will convene Thursday, Nov. 20, in Concordia’s dining room, 1 Concordia Drive in Bella Vista.
A social hour will start at 5: 30 p. m., followed by dinner at 6: 30 p. m.
Gary Compton, Bentonville superintendent of schools, will speak on the latest developments in the school district.
Dinner reservations may be made with Treasurer Pete Hieronimus at 855-7753.
All men and women who once served as officers of the U. S. Armed Forces qualify for membership in the MOAA. Guests are welcome to attend chapter meetings.
The objective of the association is to support veterans and the men and women currently serving in the nation’s military. Activities of the Bella Vista chapter include collecting magazines and taking them to the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Fayetteville, as well as gathering items for care packages to be sent to troops in the field.
