Friday, Nov. 21 11 a. m. to 3 p. m. Delta Trust & Bank, 1790 Forest Hills Blvd. in BellaVista, will host a blood drive in conjunction with Community Blood Center of the Ozarks. 7: 30 p. m. Northwest Arkansas Community College in Bentonville will present a recital showcasing students of the Music Department faculty. The program will be in the college’s Music Recital Hall, located on the second floor of Burns Hall. Admission is free. For information, call 619-4311. Saturday, Nov. 22 5 p. m. to 8 p. m. The annual “ Lighting of the Square”for the holidays will take place in downtown Bentonville. Sunday, Nov. 23 3 p. m. First United Methodist Church in downtown Rogers will continue its salute to the InternationalYear of the Organ with an organ and piano recital featuring Jonathan Story, principal organist for Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville. The churchislocatedatThirdandElmstreets. No tickets are required, but a freewill offering will be taken at intermission. After the program, a reception will be hosted by members of the northwestArkansas chapter of theAmerican Guild of Organists. 4 p. m. The Bella Vista Women’s Chorus will give a holiday concert at the First United Methodist Church of BellaVista, 20 Boyce Drive. A freewill offering will be collected. Monday, Nov. 24 9 a. m. to 1 p. m. The Bella Vista Fire Department, 103 Town Center, will host a blood drive in conjunction with Community Blood Center of the Ozarks. Friday, Dec. 5 7: 30 p. m. The Ozark Mountains British Brass Band will present “ Sounds of the Season ” at Arend Arts Center on the Bentonville High School campus, 1901 S. E. J.
