FAYETTEVILLE — Washington Regional’s Faith in Action is inviting the community to help fulfill an elderly person’s Christmas wish this year by participating in the fifth annual Project Santa.
This year, Faith in Action will be filling 140 “ Christmas Comfort Baskets, ” which will be delivered by volunteers to the organization’s clients in time for the holidays.
Project Santa tags, listing the items needed for the baskets, will be displayed on Christmas trees outside the Faith in Action offices in Fayetteville and Bella Vista. The local office is at 1801 Forest Hills Blvd., Suite 200.
Beginning Nov. 24, people may choose Santa tags from one of the trees and purchase the items requested. The unwrapped gifts should be identified with the tag and dropped off at one of the offices by Dec. 11.
Faith in Action staff and volunteers will start assembling the baskets Dec. 12, with delivery scheduled to begin Dec. 15.
Call 463-7860 or 855-7804.
