Tax deadline nears

BENTON COUNTY ó The last day to pay delinquent Benton County realestate, personal-property and improvement-district taxes to avoid publication in a local newspaper is Nov. 25.
Arkansas Statute 26-36-203 instructs all county tax collectors to provide a list of delinquent property taxes for publication in the local newspaper. This publication serves as official notification that delinquent payments are due for 2007 property taxes.
All payments for delinquent property taxes in Benton County must be paid in full and received by the Nov. 25 deadline. No partial payments will be accepted, in accordance with state statutes.
Residents can make payments at the following locations:
ï Benton County Administration Building, Room 101, in downtown Bentonville;
ï 300 W. Poplar St. in Rogers;
ï 2308 S. E. 28 th St., Suite 1, in Bentonville;
ï 108 N. E. Main St. in Gravette; and
ï 107 Lincoln in Siloam Springs.
When mailing tax payments, include the parcel number on all payments and correspondence.
