Red, white and blue theme of 2008 Christmas parade

The annual Pea Ridge Christmas parade is set for 4: 30 p. m. Saturday, Dec. 6, according to Mayor Jackie Crabtree.

Participants are to line up downtown on North Curtis Avenue at the old school grounds.

The parade will travel south on North Curtis, turn east on Lee Town Road and return north on North Davis Street for the lighting ceremony downtown.

The parade theme is red, white and blue in honor of Dec. 7 and the memory of Pearl Harbor. It is sponsored by Beta Alpha Sorority.
