Greenland peppers Times' 3A All-County team

Two schools got off to hot starts and another trudged through a third straight winless season, but talent continued to rise to the surface at the Class 3A schools in Washington County in 2008. Greenland started 6-0, but struggled to make a playoff spot, and Elkins, winners of five straight to start the season, missed the playoffs. Lincoln fell on hard times again, finishing 0-10, but were led by plenty of young stars. Nine Greenland players lead this year's edition of the Northwest Arkansas Times' 3A All-County football team. - Thursday, January 1, 2009
